Rush Hour in Riverton – Barbara Lee
I guess this is a ‘Cityscape’ and as such qualifies for the set subject. There is a certain appeal about this image created by the juxtaposition of the horses of yesteryear mixing with modern-day transportation. Evidently, this must be a frequent occurrence due to the warning sign depicting a rider on horseback. The telegraph poles and wires increase the busy feeling that is portrayed within the scene, although I get the feeling you may have been lucky to capture such busy activity in this rural community. I would be tempted to crop about an inch from the top of the image which would increase the letterbox presentation.
