Lovely setting and I liked the thought that has been put into this. Compositionally the image could be improved by having the subject more towards the junction of the bottom right hand thirds instead of centre. Black is a difficult colour to photograph and you could try and lighten the dogs face by pulling out the shadows if you use light room to give this area some more detail. Once again be careful with vignettes as in this image it has become more of a distraction than enhancing the image. The exposure has been well handled overall.
