The centre of flowers offer the photographer heaps of opportunities to explore their delicate and fascinating features. This flower has caught the photographer's eye and the photographer has presented a worthy attempt. However, there are a few ways to improve this presentation. The important part of the flower is the centre and that has been placed almost in the centre of the frame; this position is not very dynamic to a viewer, so perhaps frame the flower to be in one of the four interesting points in the frame. Also, this interesting centre piece is a very small part in the frame (approx 10% of the total image) and is surrounded by a large area of out of focus petals that don't really add to its interest ; by making the centre so small does detract from its importance. The interest point of an image invariably needs to be sharp to hold the viewer's attention, but unfortunately all detail is lost here due to it being out of focus.
